Childhood Apartment

This apartment rethinks a former grandmother’s home, now lived in by her grandson, translating childhood memories into a contemporary design language. Colors, materials, and details from the past are reinterpreted into a lighter, present-day composition. The bedroom carpet returns, placed over the bed frame, recreating the feeling of sleeping “in the sky” as a child. Baroque angels reappear, paired with modern lighting, softening their weight. The result is an ode to childhood — nostalgic, personal, and shifted into something present.
